Bible Study Fellowship (BSF)

Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) is a global, in-depth bible study which believes people discover their true purpose and identity by knowing God through His Word and for everyone to personally explore the Word of God in community. Thousands of women, men and children of all ages around the world are studying the Bible in BSF, exploring the meaningful questions of life, going deeper in their relationship with Jesus Christ, connecting with others and discovering true peace, hope and security as they uncover the truth of God’s Word together.

BSF’s four-fold approach includes: Group members spend time in personal Bible study during the week with questions that prompt deeper thought. Once a week they meet in-person or online for a small group discussion around what they’ve read and then listen to a 30-minute teaching that applies the truths of scripture to daily life. Followed by comprehensive notes on the passage they studied.

This year’s study is entitled Exile and Return which invites you on a powerful journey through the Old Testament where we will walk alongside faithful followers, including Ezekiel, Ezra, Daniel, Esther and Nehemiah. Like us they were human, flawed, faced fear, uncertainty and opposition. Yet day by day, they built lives on the foundation of God’s Word and depended on Him in prayer. Prayer wasn’t simply a ritual for Daniel; it was a lifeline. Ezra devoted Himself to the study, observance and teaching of the Law of the Lord and inspired an entire generation to devote themselves wholeheartedly to the Lord. The courage we admire in them was not forged in dramatic moments but shaped through daily faithfulness. Exile and Return is about our extraordinary God who calls and equips ordinary people. By studying God’s plan for his exiled people thousands of years ago we discover God continues to carefully position and equip His people in all circumstances to build His kingdom and our lives for His glory.  God is building His kingdom, and He invites us to work alongside Him.
